This is a sleek and lightweight app that works on newer versions of the Android OS and may even work on a Chromebook with Linux functionality.

It’s actually the entire library of Viacom 18’s VOD (video on demand) platform, so to say that there is a lot of entertainment here you get access to is an understatement. It is estimated that to date, with version 2.1 of this app, you have access to over 70,000 hours of TV shows and movies.

The Features of Voot

This isn’t a very feature-rich app per se; it’s more that Voot has a lot of different channels. So, in a sense, the channels are the features, and there are plenty of them in that respect. For instance, you get shows and movies from MTV, Colors Hindi, Infinity, Telugu, Kannada, and much more. You can even find Indian-language versions of popular networks like Comedy Central.

Another great feature of Voot is the fact that you will have access to the on-demand library. This is where you can watch a lot of blockbuster films that have been dubbed over with regional languages, and even some Bollywood classics. How Voot Works

Voot is surprisingly simplistic to operate. Once it is launched, you get a screen that’s very similar to popular services like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. This means that you’re going to see large thumbnails of the shows and movies that you can watch, and you can scroll through different categories and navigate through channels or through the on-demand library. Beyond that, there isn't anything else you really have to do. Since you can't control the quality or adjust any of your screen settings (beyond full screen mode), you basically just scroll, select and watch.
